Domestic Green Deal Advisor ( Existing DEAs )

Level 3 Diploma in Green Deal Advice is available to qualified Domestic Energy Assessors (DEAs) or Approved Energy Certifier for Existing Dwellings (Scotland).

Course Outline

2 days class room taining followed by course work completion by learners in their own pace ( full support will be available during and after the completion of training ). NO EXAM for this course.

Principles, processes and responsibilities of the Green Deal Advisor
Permissions and Code of Practice
Green Deal eligible technologies and measures
Energy efficiency advice
Funding mechanisms
The Green deal tool and Advice Report

Day 2

Communication skills
Understanding fuel bills
Green Deal software tool
Producing a Green deal Advice Report
Explaining the process and report to your customer
Preparation for assessment
